In the category of businesses most valuable brand is Nike, ahead of Adidas, with $19 billion worth or $1.7 billion more than last year. The Super Bowl has been the top event brand for each of the six Fab 40 rankings since 2007, due the huge television ratings and advertisement deals the game lands. The Super Bowl alone generated $518 million last year. Fab 40 also places WrestleMania at No8 in the category of events, with a brand worth of $105 million.

The New York Yankees topped the list of most valuable team brands in sports this year, with a worth of $521 million, while the LA Lakers entered the top 10 for the first time in history due to a huge 20-year TV deal with Time Warner Cable.

On the list of athletes LeBron James dethroned Tiger Woods, who’s been holding that position since 2007. James who made $57 million off court last year has a brand worth of $37 million.
