The movie website Cinelinx claims Disney and Lucasfilm are interested in making three Obi-Wan movies set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. The site however warns this is only a rumor.

The movies are supposed to bridge the gap between the prequels and the original movies. The information is not reliable since it comes from an unnamed source, according to which one of the movies would be set on Tatooine, while the other two deal with Obi-Wan and the rebel alliance. The information is that more dubious because the source mentions appearances by Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul.

While most of the fans would like to see a good trilogy about the creation of the rebel alliance and the transition of Obi-wan from Jedi Master to a desert hermit, some are not convinced the Force is still with George Lucas.

Do you think this trilogy is a good idea? Take a vote!
