Is 3 minutes enough to build an attack? It seems like you are not risking to be KO'd in the last minute, and you are building the attack in the first, that leaves you with one minute of open fight.

Marc does not what he is talking about. Grappling can be really consuming. Submission attempts and ground n pounding takes a lot from a fighter.

No 3 min round exchanging blows on you feet is hard enough .. Mma fighters are on there back most the round so 5 min is alot easier for them
